Overview

In Spring 2012 the GSOCS started up a new colloquium series. These talks are primarily given by graduate students to increase awareness of their research throughout the department, practice a presentation before a conference, or to introduce their fellow students to useful technologies.

The format is variable depending on the talk, but can go up to one hour (with time for questions). They are scheduled for noon on Thursdays in the Watson Commons, and so we also provide lunch.

Sign-up Instructions

For now, please contact Jason Gallia (jgallia1 at binghamton dot edu) or Adnan Majeed (amajeed1 at binghamton dot edu) to reserve a spot. You will need to provide an abstract roughly one week before the presentation.
